Book.

The Book of Revelation and the Visual Culture of Asia Minor: A Concurrence of Images (Lanham, MD: Lexington Press/Fortress Academic, 2019).

This book argues that the imagery of John's Apocalypse resembles ancient visual culture insofar as it is meant to be "seen," though not because it is borrowing directly from the material religious culture of  the cities of Asia Minor. While there is a resonance between the images of Revelation and Asian statuary, numismatic iconography, and monumental  ensembles, the imagery of Revelation takes its place in the rhetoric of the era, working on the imagination of the book's audiences through its vivid, ekphrastic language.

The book has been reviewed in Journal of Theological Studies, Catholic Biblical Quarterly, Bible Today, Religious Studies Review, and Expository Times.
